This attractive variety of four different ales brewed by Harvester Brewing (out of Oregon), is waiting for me in the fridge of a dear friend in Portland.

I have Harvester Brewing on my list of places to visit. And I could not be more thrilled that new places keep popping up, offering truly “safe” products that are created in a 100% gluten free location. But the sadness that comes over me during this time that I am supposed to be on a grain-free diet is frustrating. I can now have some gluten free beer, that might actually TASTE good & different (not just the same old sorghum variety). But in order to taste said beer, I will be going off my grain free diet.
I am so looking forward to a time that I can hopefully have grains again without the fear that I am doing further damage to my poor intestines. These beers were purchases specifically for me. And I cannot WAIT to try the SQUASH one.
I would love to hear if anyone has been to Harvester yet? I see they do tastings on Thursdays.
When I DO make it to Portland, I will apologize in advance to my digestive system for introducing grains. I don’t need to finish each beer. I just want to TRY them. Nice work Harvester Brewing. I really am excited about your existence.
